Affection

Why did I decide to call this set "Affection" ?

The answer is about what we don't see in the frame but all that is behind camera.

I was with my friends:

Santiago Lonnghi taking the photos and Sammy Flores who did my makeup. Both of them bring me a lot of support and caring always and i'm very thankful for that.

Also, the beautiful space we used was borrowed by Maria, a wonderful woman who runs an art school in the capital, she was very kind and generous with me. Special thanks to her.

I think that the contrast of colors of these is a good metaphor, in order to think about life and the affection we receive from others daily and the affection we give.

The poses were thought in some kind of vulnerability and a little bit of surrealism (about playing with the reflection of the mirror and the flowers).

We all receive affection in many ways and, what I like the most, is the use in spanish of that word: "tú me afectas" ("you affect me"; not in a bad way but in the way we can't help to coexist with others and how the existence of others makes part of our own story and viceversa).

I really like the poses I made for this special set of December.
